AI Prompts with ChatGPT

After running a proof of concept to test an AI chatbot at work, I became curious about using it for personal purposes.

Generic Prompt

In this scenario:

I didn't log into my ChatGPT account
Shared a link to a public photo online
Requested an updated photo with straight hair
Requested non-smiling demeanor
Added another prompt with another link to someone else's photo with a request to add red hair, and ChatGPT provided the same photo—with red hair.

With minimal context, ChatGPT generated a hilarious, but completely inaccurate photo of someone who wasn’t me.

Prescriptive Prompt

For this second scenario:

I logged into my ChatGPT account
Uploaded a photo of me and a separate one with my cat, Duchy
Requested an updated photo with Duchy on my shoulder
Prompt about creating an avatar in Studio Ghibli style, so I can use the anime image for my Office 365 accounts at work.

Writing prompts in a user story format that provided more context—[Who], [What], [Why]—and got better results.

Sr. Consultant

I partner with stakeholders to project-manage enterprise projects:

UC Office of the President and other campuses: Help create the UC Defense Academy, a program that trains UC lawyers and outside defense lawyers to be ready for trials.
Office of Communications: Improve how the university shares information across different channels by making websites easier to use, creating profiles of typical users, and studying how people move through the site to make their experience better.
